Solar Garden Fountain

Spruce up your back yard with a solar garden fountain.  This specific type of fountain will produce a recurring, even beat sound that will aid in relaxing you while enjoying the outdoors at your home.  If you happen to have a small pond located somewhere in your garden that contains fish such as koi, a solar garden fountain will provide the oxygen necessary for their survival.  A solar power garden fountain will produce bubbles in the water.  In these bubbles are life preserving oxygen. The movement of water will also aid in the prevention of mosquitos. Mosquitoes need still, stagnant water for the larve to hatch

A solare garden fountain is also freindly to the environment.  It converts sunlight to power.  It uses this converted power to run the pump.  This will save on your electric bill, as well help to use less fossil fuels to produce power that comes out of your electrical outlets.

Your solar outdoor fountain will probably attract some wildlife.  Birds will like to take a bath in it.  They will also want to get drinks from it.  If you end up with a lot of birds or other animals using it, be sure to clean it out regularly.  Otherwise it could lead to disease of your fish and the birds themselves.  If you end up with that many birds, consider adding a solar birdbath fountain.

If you do not like having electrical cords having to be run to find an outlet, this type of water fountain is for you.  Also, If the fountain is in a lot of shade, get one where the solar panel has a long wire. This will allow you to place the panel in a spot with a lot of sun.

A solar garden fountain can come in any shape and size. Some of the more common shapes are that of a lily pad.  They also come as frogs and fish that spew water from their mouths.  You may also find a solar fountain that comes in a traditional muti tiered configuration.  The water flows over different levels until finally reaching the bottom.

This fountain is shaped like a traditional birdbath. It is round. The top tier is also round but smaller in diameter. This gives the two tier effect. The water runs out of the top tier and into the bottom tier.  It recycles water from a holding tank that is not visible.

This is just what it says.  It is a fish where the water comes out of its mouth.  It is all a self contained unit.  The solar panel is connected by a wire. This allows the placement of the panel in the sun while being able to locate the actual fish just about anywhere including the shade.  You can even move this solar garden fountain indoors to enjoy in the colder months.
