Bamboo Garden Fountains

Bamboo garden fountains can add that unique touch to your garden.  The material is plentiful and is just about ready to be used in its naturat state.  When you considering either buying or making your own bamboo garden fountain, you are being environmentally conscience.  This material is a very renewable resource. You may also want to look at the idea of making your own water fountain out of bamboo.  Everything you need can be found at the local home store in your area.  Basically what you would need is a pump, some flexible rubber tubing and a basin to hold the pump and the water.  The base must be water tight. You don't want the all the water to leak out.  This will caust the pump to burn up.  After you set up the pump in the water tight basin comes the fun part. What design will you use.  You can have a bamboo tube that emptys onto a bamboo slice and have the water pour off of there.  There are so many designs it would be impossible to go over them all.  Try different things out and see what you end up with.

There is a seperate part that the water hits.  This part is on a seesaw like design.  when the water makes contact with it, it knocks back and forth.  This sound gets into a rythm and will relax you.  You could aslo use this to scare away unwanted birds or animals that are looking for a free meal in you garden.
